Adyen Integrates BitPay

We're excited to announce our partnership with Adyen, a global payment company which processed over $25 billion in transactions last year. This partnership will give some of the biggest companies in the world the ability to begin accepting bitcoin payments.

Jagex, the creators of popular mobile games including RuneScape, became the first of Adyen's long client list to activate bitcoin payments. Jagex will be accepting bitcoin payments to make it easier for gamers worldwide to pay for its products.

Alongside Jagex, many of the biggest merchants in the world trust Adyen, who supports over 180 currencies and over 250 payment methods, to process their payments. Adyen's merchants can now easily accept bitcoin as a payment method from their ecommerce stores. Through the integration each merchant's bitcoin sales will be seamlessly included in their reporting and settlement from Adyen. These are the types of integrations needed to advance bitcoin.
